Hip-hop took birth as American street culture. Hip-hop culture emerged from 1970s block events (large outdoor events, thrown by owners of expensive stereo equipment) in New York(NY) City, especially South Bronx. Pioneered by Black Americans, it includes rap music, break dancing, ‘b-boy’ fashion, and a defiant stance.

Amid predictions it would not outlive a season, hip-hop music managed to establish its own race. Anyone who dismisses Hip-hop as rap music doesn’t understand its history and the influence hip-hop has on youth culture. True audiences appreciate that hip-hop isn’t just about music; it is a way of life, a language, and a unique perspective that uses music to address racism, oppression, and poverty issues, and transforms the music into a political movement. The aim is to motivate young adults to get active in ways reminiscent of the civil rights movement. Hip-hop narrates the stories of inner city African-Americans trying to live the American dream from the bottom up. It is about the youth culture of New York(NY) City taking over the world someday—about dance, art, hurt, love, racial discrimination, broken homes, overcoming adversity, and fulfillment.

Hip-hop includes four key forms of expression: mixing (combining sounds using turntables or other sources), “b-boying” (dancing), graffiti art, and emceeing (a individual who could control the crowd with his lyrics). This culture manifested itself throughout New York(NY) City around the mid-1970s. There is a message passed down from the godfathers of hip-hop: to earn respect, you must be skilled on the mic, possess the ability to rock a crowd with sheer lyricism, and explain why you were better than the man next door.

Hip-hop has had a significant influence on several genres of music. Rythm & Blues, in particular, has been the the majority influenced as to necessitate a sub genre. The key difference has been that the sub genre has been coarse and contained less of an Rythm & Blues influence.

Pop and Rythm & Blues singers, including Mariah Carey and Destiny’s Child, appropriated hip-hop in order to relate to younger, urban audiences s, thus creating a sub genre coined “”hip-hop Soul“”. This genre features hip-hop backbeats, superimposed with vocals that were sung in the style of soul music; the lyrics, however, integrated street lingo and adult themes.

Impudence characterizes the styling of hip-hop soul. The hitherto conventional singers sported tattoos, wore leather, and wore a defiant look in the vein of hip-hop musicians. Pop singers, who were reluctant to vary their images, began collaborating with a rapper to remix one of their tracks, and in company d the remix in their albums. The remixes were pegged as singles, and allowed the singers to retain their signature styles.

These remixed tracks soon became all the rage, and hip-hop soul crossed racial divides, earning its performers mainstream recognition. Veteran Rythm & Blues performers likewise generated interest among young, contemporary listenerss through their association with hip-hop. Patti LaBelle has performed with Outkast; Chaka Khan granted permission to Kanye West to re-mix her tracks. By joining forces with hip-hop performers, Rythm & Blues singers thus reached out to a new age group.

Hip-hop soul is considered more mature than contemporary Rythm & Blues, and targets an adult listeners. This is primarily due to the type of’s focus on the seamier facets of life; hip-hop soul singers additionally use adult language and themes, which has drawn censure from individuals who feel the genre of music, similar to hip-hop, glorifies negative stereotypes.

Although hip-hop soul witnessed a dull period with the emergence of Neo Soul, another R&B sub type of in the late 90s, it’s now experiencing a surge in popularity due to singers prefer Jaheim, Amerie, Keyshia Cole, and Anthony Hamilton.

Hip-hop music is the vehicle of hip-hop culture and contains “rapping” (superimposed with vocals) by emcees. Owing to this, hip-hop music is on occasion referred to as “rap music,” However, those who dismiss hip-hop as rap music do not comprehend its rich history and the influence this genre of music has on youth culture.

Hip-hop music is a vehicle used by the singers to address racism, oppression, and poverty issues. It narrates tales of inner city African-Americans living the American dream (through hard work, courage and determination one can achieve prosperity) from the bottom up, and bitterly touches upon racial discrimination, broken homes, and overcoming adversity.

Invented by Jamaican migrant DJ Kool Herc in the early 70s in NY City, it has since then spread its tentacles across the world. Herc shifted from reggae records to funk, rock and disco. Owing to the short percussive breaks, he began extending them using an audio mixer and two records. As the unique style of music became a hit, performers (emcees) began superimposing the music with vocals; initially, they introduced themselves and others in the fans. Later, the rapping became more diverse, incorporating brief rhymes, a lot of the time with a sexual or violent theme, in an attempt to entertain the fans.

In the mid-1970s, hip-hop split into two groups. One focused on getting the crowd dancing, another highlighted rapid-fire rhymes. The 1980s witnessed further diversification in hip-hop; highly metaphoric lyrics rapping over multi-layered beats replaced simple vocals. In the 90s, gangsta rap (glorified outlaw lifestyle) became mainstream. Hip-hop has been soon an integral part of mainstream music, and nearly all the pop songs featured an underlying element of hip-hop.

In the 90s and into the following decade, elements of hip-hop were integrated into diverse type ofs of music: hip-hop soul combined hip-hop and soul music; in the Dominican Republic, a recording by Santi Y Sus Duendes and Lisa M has been coined “Meren-rap,” a fusion of hip-hop and meringue. In Europe, Africa, and Asia, hip-hop has undergone a transition from an underground occurrence to the mainstream market.

I’m not sure if everyone has been watching out there, about the categories of music that we are listening to. Let us look at them for a minute. Our grandparents listen to music prefer ; “Happy Days are Here Remember, the Skies Above Are Clear Again.” kids now listen to RAP, which actually begins with a ‘C’ except the ‘C’ is silent in this new spelling and pronunciation. Its really, CRAP. A radio station in Texas (TX) is actually called K-RAP. Perfect.

It isn’t that the music is so bad; actually it’s nice, because its rhythm and cadence puts people in a convergence state of mind. In other words it puts them into theta state of mind and that is where it’s easier to suggest a new thought or to brainwash in sleep state. The initiation of such brainwaves is compelling indeed. These tactics are also used in certain churches and Sales and motivational seminars. also during commercials and government uses them to some degree for necessary quest s, for instance cadence in military marching. The gangster rap isn’t nice in that it suggests killing, drugs, other gang activities while putting its listener into the convergence state of mind. This is a negative thing, and can cause these individuals to dwell on certain thoughts and give them pointers that they can with proper gang mentality attempt one or more of the activities talked about in the tunes. It would be much better to have tunes with that kind of cadence, which promote d nice deeds and love. Perhaps there are many of these types of tunes yet they do not sell remarkably well and I do not here positive rap tunes as much as I should. Mostly the Gangster Rap.

many Techno type songs are furthermore negative in nature. But these songs do not have the proper beats per minute to put a person into a trance like state, where suggestive behavior is introduced that’s a throw back to before the human differ in society. It’s possible to disallow this kind of music? Music is an escape for many individuals to the fast paced life, and being in a trace state is probably a nice state to be in, if one wanted to escape from the world for a while. A strong Bass in a song and certain beats per minute introduce this convergence state, then the subject is 100 percent ready for fresh new input. Theta States of mind are induced and a waken dream state offers for simple subconscious input.

But what are all of us allowing to be put into these minds of altered state? tunes of this nature are better than drugs, yet the drugs would effect the singular and not the victims of the deed that are done once the behavior of an individual are altered through this convergence. There is freedom of expression in this country yet the audiences are not realizing the effect of the differs as they occur. They are being brain was hed while listening to their favorite music. Which become more favored because it puts them in a trace state allowing them to escape from problems of life. Hey no one said life was easy, right? I believe Rappers should be thrown in the trash cans, not littering the minds of our youth. It costs companies resources for graffiti cleaning and tax payers resources in police. The fee to society is too great to calculate as a whole, but it’s real. Rather than eliminate a cultural phenomena.

Let us instead make each record label and performer (I use this loosely as I do not approve of the RAP, but without passing judgment) establish 10 songs with positive lyrics for every one song of negative lyrics. That solves that problem. people can still escape in their trance state, record organizations still make money, the constitution is still upheld, but there will be less negative and more positive thought going on when trance prefer state is producing more of one chemical in the brain than another. A person in this state is simple to recognize, their eyes are glossy and remain so for while following wards.

Pop music may include elements of rock, hip hop, reggae, dance, Rythm & Blues (R&B), jazz, electronic, and every now and then folk music and numerous other styles. Pop music performers typically make use of state-of-the-art technology and recording studios to achieve the sound they want, and record producers may have a heavy influence. Pop music generally uses a simple, memorable melody and emphasizes the rhythm, a number of times with syncopation, and stripped down to a basic riff or loop which repeats throughout much of the song. Pop music is a number of times criticized for being overly simple and repetitive.

Popular

Popular music is music belonging to any of a number of musical styles that are accessible to the general public and are distributed by one or more of the mass media. Popular music is music that is not something else ( a number of times ‘folk’ or ‘art’ music). Popular music is associated with (produced for or by) a particular social group. Popular music is distributed by mass media and/or in a mass market. Popular music is additionally rarely entirely instrumental. Popular music is not really about ‘being heard’, but rather about ‘being heard again’; and ‘being heard again and again and again’ is what really popular music is really about. Pop is contemporary music and a common kind of popular music (distinguished from classical or art music and from folk music).

The term popular music doesn’t refer only to a single genre or sound, and its meaning is divergent depending on the time and place. Within popular music, “pop music” is a lot of the time distinguished from other sub genres by stylistic traits such as a danceable rhythm or beat, simple melodies and a repeating structure. The broad appeal of pop music is seen to distinguish it from more specific types of popular music, and pop music performers and recordings are among the best -selling and most broadly known in a lot of regions of the world. The development of recording methods is seen as a major influence on the sound of pop, distinguishing it from classical music and jazz, as well as from some types of popular music which could seek a more “natural” sound.

Album

In the recorded music era, the single (a single song) and the album (a collection of tunes ) are the usual methods of distributing pop music. Notable highlights for pop music in the 1980s are Michael Jackson’s second Epic label release, Thriller, which went on to become the optimum -selling album of all time. Jackson has been the most successful artist of the 80s, spanning nine #1 singles in the U.S. alone during that decade, and selling over 133 million copies with only two albums — Thriller, and its follow-up Bad.

Pop music in the 1980s was heavily influenced by an electronic sound with synthesizers and drum machines, and dance type music. Pop music, on the other hand, has primarily come into usage to describe music that evolved out of the rock ‘n roll revolution of the mid-1950’s and continues in a definable path to now. Pop music can range from the highly creative, iconoclastic or virtuosic to simple and downright dumb.

This is a personal opinion and consequently, I don’t want any hate mail from Country Western audiences, which I know are fanatical and omnipresent. I do have my favorite s, from a chauvinistic man’s point of view. I think that Shania Twain and Faith Hill are sexy and I enjoy several of their videos plus some of their tunes. But is it because they’re ample country western stars? No way. I have a problem listening to the majority of the Country Western stuff because it all is beginning to sound the same. I cannot tell a Randy Travis, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith or Alan Jackson song apart if my life depended on it.

I grew up on the Jersey shore and many of you might, for that reason, think I am unqualified to make such a judgment. But hold on. I have spent the last 30 years in Arizona. Does it get more country or western than that? You know, the home of Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, and where the ‘Little House on the Prairie’ has been filmed.

So I’m a transplant with an attitude. Do not get me wrong, because I’ve given it a try. My late wife was from West Virginia and, during her mid-life crisis, began playing Country Western music continuously for five years. all of us had all the compact disc’s, radio stations on preset, and even watched the Country Western awards on TV. I may recognize all the extensive names, the latest hits, and who was new to the scene. Through it all, I really tried to find pleasure in the sound, for her sake. But, eventually, I wandered back to my classic rock and roll, jazz, or blues.

I performance the harmonica and keyboard and have oodles of sheet music. I have attempted to performance a few of the recent Country Western (CW) popular numbers, but to no avail. I have several of the older Country Western (CW) classics that have crept into mainstream by Johnny Cash and Ernie Ford, but they’re few and far betwixt. The current tunes have become a formula that’s fodder for Jeff Foxworthy and his ilk. According to individuals like him, it goes like this -

You start with a sad premise. You have lost your - (fill in the blank) i.e., girl, dog, choose up truck. They were your first - love, companion, way of freedom. You recall their - smiles, wagging tail, leather seats. You wish you might, once again, feel their - hair, fur, gun rack. You really miss their - smell, smell, smell. You’d do anything to get them back - tell her you love her, rub her cute little tummy, (or did I’ve those reversed?) hose her engine compartment. While you are waiting for them to return, you’ll have to - do your own laundry, fetch your own paper, walk to the liquor store. In other words, it is not a pretty sight.

So that’s my gripe with Country Western (CW). They differ the harmony, the lyrics and the tempo, but the message is obvious. I yearn for a total differ of pace where I might get my ‘Satisfaction’ or ‘Light My Fire.’ But I also have troubles with Hip-Hop, Rap, and Grunge. So,let’s say I’ve got issues and be done with it. Additionally,to all you Country Western (CW) lovers out there, stick with your music and don’t let a basher like me differ your tune, pardoning the pun. And did I mention the two things I do like about Dolly Parton?

Music is always the part of our lives ever since the stone age.

There are many categories of instruments which make their own sounds as well as certain pieces of junk. The stringed section allows one to make sound by using the strings prefer on guitars, and violins. The strings are tightened at a certain length for notes high and low. Wind instruments, such as wood and brass, make soft sounds and loud sounds with air flow and valves to control the notes. Symbols and bells of all kinds and sizes can be heard when tapped on and drums are the same way but with beating sounds. PC’s and easy objects have their own sounds which can be used for music.

many famous names today and in history dedicated their lives for music and wrote many famous numbers that are forever recall ed in all fountains of information. As known, tribal music came first with primitive drums and other easy instruments. Classical has been next in line with more sophisticated instruments making it loud and lively. After classical, many kinds came to existence like early rock and roll, modern rock, and hip hop. There is reggae, jazz, rhythm and blues, barber shop style singing, and cultural music. Many people who love music so much that they may want to make a career out of it to be famous and/or just for fun.

It keeps us entertained even if all of us feel down in the dumps. Many kinds of music were invented from many cultures around the world past and present. Voices and instruments make this activity come to life in many ways.

Hip-hop took birth as American street culture. Hip-hop culture emerged from 1970s block get togethers (large outdoor get togethers, thrown by owners of expensive stereo equipment) in New York City, especially South Bronx. Pioneered by Black Americans, it includes rap music, break dancing, ‘b-boy’ fashion, and a defiant stance.
Amid predictions it would not outlive a season, hip-hop music managed to create its own race. Anyone who dismisses Hip-hop as rap music does not understand its history and the influence hip-hop has on youth culture. True audiences appreciate that hip-hop is not just about music; it’s a way of life, a language, and a unique perspective that uses music to address racism, oppression, and poverty issues, and transforms the music into a political movement. The aim is to motivate young adults to get active in ways reminiscent of the civil rights movement. Hip-hop narrates the stories of inner city African-Americans trying to live the American dream from the bottom up. It is about the youth culture of New York City taking over the world someday—about dance, art, hurt, love, racial discrimination, broken homes, overcoming adversity, and fulfillment.
Hip-hop includes four key forms of expression: mixing (combining sounds using turntables or other sources), “b-boying” (dancing), graffiti art, and emceeing (a individual who might control the crowd with his lyrics). This culture manifested itself throughout New York City around the mid-1970s. There’s a message passed down from the godfathers of hip-hop: to earn respect, you must be skilled on the mic, possess the ability to rock a crowd with sheer lyricism, and explain why you were better than the man next door.

Hip-hop has had a serious influence on a few type ofs of music. R&B, in particular, was the most influenced as to necessitate a sub type of. The key difference was that the sub type of was coarse and contained less of an R&B influence.
Pop and R&B singers, including Mariah Carey and Destiny’s Child, appropriated hip-hop in order to relate to young, urban audiences s, thus creating a sub type of coined “”hip-hop Soul“”. This type of features hip-hop backbeats, superimposed with vocals that were sung in the style of soul music; the lyrics, however, integrated street lingo and adult themes.
Impudence characterizes the styling of hip-hop soul. The hitherto conventional singers sported tattoos, wore leather, and wore a defiant look in the vein of hip-hop artist s. Pop singers, who were reluctant to vary their images, began collaborating with a rapper to remix one of their tracks, and in business d the remix in their albums. The remixes were pegged as singles, and allowed the singers to retain their signature styles.
The remixed tracks soon became all the rage, and hip-hop soul crossed racial divides, earning its artists mainstream recognition. Veteran R&B artists additionally generated interest among young, contemporary audiencess through their association with hip-hop. Patti LaBelle has performed with Outkast; Chaka Khan granted permission to Kanye West to re-mix her tracks. By joining forces with hip-hop artist s, R&B singers thus reached out to a new age group.
Hip-hop soul is thought to be more mature than contemporary R&B, and targets an adult audiences. This is primarily due to the type of ’s focus on the seamier facets of life; hip-hop soul singers additionally use adult language and themes, which has drawn censure from individuals who feel the genre of music, similar to hip-hop, glorifies negative stereotypes.
Although hip-hop soul witnessed a dull period with the emergence of Neo Soul, another R&B sub type of in the late 90s, it’s now experiencing a surge in popularity due to singers like Jaheim, Amerie, Keyshia Cole, and Anthony Hamilton.
