I never used to listen to it but it was Randy Travis (that voice) that drew me to Randy and country and I've loved it ever since, especially Randy but a lot of the older artists like Lefty, Tom T. Hall, George Jones, etc. Now had i not heard Randy and gotten introduced to many of the classic country artists, I'm not sure I'd have come over to country either with some of today's artists. as a matter of fact, I've often said some of the older classic R&R artists sound more like country than some of today's artists. No need for hate mail of course; as they say, to each his own or we all dance to a different drummer. I guess what interests me is you say you can't tell the difference between one CW artist from another.
